Surgery can be frightening to anyone, especially a child.

At P&S Surgical Hospital, we understand that fear, and we work hard to reassure your child prior to her procedure. The staff in our newly renovated Pre-Op Clinic will provide you with the information necessary to make your child’s experience as pleasant as possible.

The brightly colored playrooms are equipped with playful décor, a variety of toys, and televisions. We believe in allowing children to make choices, such as riding to the Operating Room in a wagon or walking alongside her nurse.

Family and friends of the pediatric patient are equally important. We realize that waiting for your child to return from surgery is difficult. Our staff understands the need of a parent and child to be together, and we make every effort to reunite you quickly. Snacks are provided in the waiting area, making it convenient for parents who wish to stay.

Every member of our medical team is specially trained to take care of our pediatric patients. This training includes basic life support as well as Pediatric Advanced Life Support. You and your child are important, and we promise to provide you both with the best possible care.

Our pediatric services include:

  • Dentistry
  • Ear, nose and throat (tonsillectomy, adenoid removal, buttons in ears)
  • Eye procedures
  • Orthopedics

Pediatric Diet Instructions
